Montreux          

Montreux is a small quiet city in Switzerland, by Lake Geneva, on the Swiss Riviera, famous for many festivals and events, in particular the Jazz Festival.

How to get there?

Montreux is close to the following airports: Geneva, Basel, Zürich, Milan, Paris, Frankfurt. In Geneva and Zürich you can find inside the airports, trains to Montreux. If you arrive in Zürich, you can also come to Montreux by the wonderful Goldenpass train. Swiss is the national airline connecting Switzerland to many cities in the world and EasyJet is a low cost airline which connects many European cities to Geneva or Basel. It is easy to get to Montreux by train from most countries in Europe: France, Italy, Germany, Spain, etc. A very cheap way to come to Switzerland is to come by bus with bus lines such as Eurolines.
